Due to the current health climate and with the safety of the community as our top priority, "The Buzz" 2020 has been cancelled.  

CELEBRATE POLLINATORS!

The Township of King wants to celebrate our status as a Certified Bee City by hosting a celebration for National Pollinator Week.

​Join us at Cold Creek Conservation Area for a free-to-enter, all ages, fun-filled day that will leave the whole family buzzing!

VENDORS, TOURS, WORKSHOPS, ECO-ACTIVITIES
The Buzz is an all ages, free-to-enter event where you will learn about the importance of our native pollinators!  Features at The Buzz include:
  • A variety of vendors including food and drink!
  • Educational booths from partners and organizations invested in pollinator health
  • Workshops including mason bee house building and "Bumble Bee Watch" 
  • Eco-activities such as pollinator wildflower planting and seed ball making
  • Tours to the on-site apiary run by an expert beekeeper
